Dr Radia’s Tips to Protect your Delicate Teeth While Eating And Drinking

Acid and sugar from food and drinks can damage your teeth so remember these top tips:

1. Drink carbonated drinks and juice through a straw to limit acid exposure directly onto teeth.

2. Keep drinks and treats to mealtimes when we produce natural buffers to protect our teeth.

3. Chewing sugar-free gum is also a great way to protect your teeth from any acids that remain in your mouth after a meal.

4. Don't forget to brush twice a day with fluoridated toothpaste, three times if you've been naughty!

5. Do not tear Sellotape with your teeth.

6. Do not use your teeth to remove tags from gifts or open packages.
